A Mandelbrot/Julia Set Fractal, inspired by the PBS program Fractals the colors of infinity,and of course my niece Melissa, who actually understands mathematics without pictures.

A fractal is a geometric pattern that repeats from minus infinity to infinity. Never ending. Never beginning. Considered by some to be a simple truth of all matter and energy. This fractal imagine was computer generated, arbitrarily colored and hand drawn on knitting graph. An infinite pattern hand knit into a finite space. Limited by the quantity of colors, stitches, and of course the space-time continuum.
